Lamipel, founded in 1980, focused its activity in the selection and the trimming of bovine wet blue splits. During the years, the company gradually grew up to become leaders in their field. It was possible to reach this target thanks to the dynamic commercial policy and the managerial ability, gained through many years of experience. The great specialization in the field of bovine splits allowed Lamipel to obtain an extended know-how necessary to satisfy all the customers spread all over the world, in order to offer to all of them a specific product suitable for every production need.

The main warehouse is in Santa Maria a Monte, located in the Leather District, the English version of the Italian “Comprensorio del Cuoio”, world-wide renowned for the high quality production standards. The Leather District includes Santa Croce Sull’ Arno, Ponte a Egola and Fucecchio with a great quantity of tanneries. Moreover, Lamipel has another warehouse in Arzignano, in the north of Italy, located in the most important productive area in the Valle del Chiampo. This area includes cities such as Arzignano, Chiampo, Gambellara, Montorso, Montebello, San Pietro and Zermeghedo.

Lamipel buys wet blue splits and wet blue hides in Italy and abroad. The main activity is the trimming of wet blue splits and the selection in different articles. At the end, wet blue splits are measured, packed, and delivered to the final client. The reputation of Lamipel is due to the extreme accuracy of the whole productive operations. Thanks to this, Lamipel can offer products of a standard quality, suitable to satisfy customers’ requirements for their production. The strength of the company is to present selected articles to be used by the customers for their proper productions’ processes. Lamipel’s customers are the tanneries which produce finished articles both for shoes, leather goods, garments and upholstery production. In Arzignano, we increased our activity by producing and trading crust splits and grain leather.
